01 / How it works

Three steps to locking in.

  1. 1

    Start a squad

Bring your friends with one link and set your squad's lock-in hours. Going solo? That works too.

  2. 2

    Lock your distractions

Choose the apps that eat your time. They stay locked until you answer a few questions on what you're studying.

  3. 3

    Study, unlock, climb

Every session earns points for the leaderboard and minutes for your apps.

01Squads

Your people, one link.

A squad is the group you lock in with: your friends, your class, your team. Create one in seconds and drop the link in the group chat.

  • Up to 20 people per squad
  • Join with a link or a 6-letter code

02Squad lock-in hours

Lock in at the same time.

Pick a time for the whole squad. When it starts, everyone's apps lock together, so nobody's left scrolling alone.

  • Leave early and the squad sees it

Lock the apps that own you.

Everyone picks their own time-eaters. Once they're locked, the only way in is through what you're studying.

  • Any app: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, games

04 / FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it free?

Early access is free.

Do my friends need the app too?

Not to start. You can lock in solo, but it hits different with a squad: once Eddicts launches, you can bring your friends in right from the app.

What if I really need my phone?

Calls, texts and maps never lock. For everything else there's an emergency unlock with a short wait, and your squad sees it.

Can't I just turn it off?

Technically yes. Eddicts just makes it slow on purpose: changes to your locks kick in the next day.

Can people cheat?

They can try. Quizzes and timer sessions get full points, and there's a daily cap.

When does it launch?

We're building it right now. People on the waitlist get in first, and we'll email you the moment it's ready.

What do you do with my email?

We only use it to tell you about Eddicts. No spam, and we never sell your data. Unsubscribe anytime.
